  1. The only way Catholics will achieve any form of renewal in the Church is through the Holy Eucharist and a return to a deeper faith in Christ's Presence in the Eucharist at Holy Mass and in His Presence in every Catholic Church tabernacle. I find it very sad to see these programmes which deviate from the gifts of the Sacraments of our Church which Jesus gave to us through His death on the Cross, most especially by giving us Himself in the Eucharist. If we continue to reject the Presence of Christ in the Eucharist and in the Sacraments, the Church will continue to lose vocations to the Priesthood and to Religious Life. We in Ireland need to wake up to the beauty of our Catholic Faith.

  2. I know I'm a bit late with this but I've only seen the comment now, but how do we expect people who already are not going to the Eucharist, to return? Just because we say it's the right thing to do? I don't think so. One has to encourage people where they are not where we would like them to be. Jesus gave us his word and it is for everyone, in every situation. "there will come a time when you will praise me not on this mountain nor in Jerusalem.............When true worshippers iwll worship the father in spirit and truth...." John 4: 21-22. Yes Jesus is in every tabernacle but he is also in every heart that is not in church. No one is rejecting Jesus in fact what people are trying to do is encourage people to return to the one thing he asked of us..."Listen to my voice, hear me". at the very start of John he said "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God". Enough Said Have a blessed day
